Mary and
Martha (and their brother Lazarus) were good friends of Jesus. They appear 3
different times in the Bible. They lived in a small town very close to
Jerusalem called Bethany. During Jesus' last week of life, he spent most of the
days in Jerusalem but most of the nights in Bethany. It may have been at Mary,
Martha and Lazarus's house that He was staying. |
